Germantown Kiwanis Presents The Germantown July 4th Festivities

The Independence Day picnic is the annual celebration of the anniversary of the Nation's Independence. The celebration for 2012 will be held on Wednesday, July 4th beginning at 11:00 am in Firemen's Park.
The park will feature: (subject to change as contracts are being finalized)
Food, Beverages, Children's Games, Music Inflatable Games / Dunk TankClassic Car Show: 1:00pm - 5:30pmAccompany of Kids: 1:30-2:15pm & 3:00-3:45pmFireworks at dusk Live Music by 'Copper Box' 5:30-8:30pm
The Independence Day parade will begin at Noon with parade entries lining up at 11:00 am. The parade will begin at Pilgrim Road and Francese Drive. The parade will travel north on Pilgrim Road to Fond du Lac Avenue, northwest on Fond du Lac to Main Street, west on Main Street to Park Avenue and north on Park Avenue to Freistadt Road. Deadline for 2012 parade entry is June 1st. Decorated bikes, buggies and wagons are welcome in the parade - just show up!!
AS IS OUR TRADITION
BRING THESE THINGS TO THE PARADE:
Leadership Germantown & Youth Futures will be pushing shopping carts in the parade to collect food, clothing for kids and school supplies, all for the St. Boniface Food Pantry.
In the event the festivities get rained out, ONLY the Fireworks will be rescheduled for July 5th.
